Dr. Juan José Rachadell
Born in San Felipe, Yaracuy state, Venezuela, in 1940. Attended Law School at the Central University of Venezuela, graduating in 1963 and obtaining a doctoral degree in Public Law at the same university.
He has performed as Professor of Constitutional Law at the Central University of Venezuela and Andrés Bello Catholic University, Judicial Consultant of Congress, Senator of the Republic from 1974 to 1989, President of the Culture and Education Commission of the Senate, and Solicitor General of the Republic from 1989 to 1992.
He is the author of “Leyes Políticas de Venezuela” (“Political Laws of Venezuela”) and “El Jóven Mariscal” (“The Young Marshall”), a biography of Antonio José de Sucre.
